How we choose topics
We cover topics that help readers with everyday health decisions, based on common questions, reader feedback and areas where clear, practical information is useful.
Research and sources
When researching an article, we rely on reputable sources such as national and international public health bodies (for example, the World Health Organization, the Indian Council of Medical Research and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare), peer-reviewed research and established medical references. Where an article relies on specific studies or guidance, we aim to link to or cite those sources.
Medical review
UrBharat articles are written for general education. Unless an article specifically states otherwise, it has not been reviewed by a medical professional and should not be used as a substitute for professional advice. See our Medical Disclaimer.
Updates and corrections
Health guidance changes over time. We revisit articles when we become aware of new guidance or errors. If you believe something on UrBharat is inaccurate or out of date, please tell us through our Contact page (choose “Report an error / request a correction” and include the page link). We review every correction request and update the article where appropriate.
Advertising and independence
UrBharat may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense, to support the website. Advertisers do not influence our editorial content, and advertisements are kept visually separate from articles. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled as such.
